Ministries: 10/40 Missions

10/40 Missions focuses on the area of our planet that contains the most amount of people that have not been reached by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This band is between 10 degrees and 40 degrees north of the equator and contains countries that are impacted by poverty, overpopulation and many diverse religions. By focusing on this region, we want to bring the hope and life that Jesus gave to us and not only impact those people’s lives but to also impact the nations as a whole. The two nations that we are focusing our support on are Pakistan with Pastor John Iqbal and India with Pastor R. Abraham.

                                                                        India

Pastor R. Abraham has been working in India for over 30 years. He is the General Secretary of the New India Church of God, which is the fastest growing Pentecostal denomination in India. Today over 1800 churches have been planted in India (and that number is increasing by about 200 each year). There are now 16 Bible Schools, 5 Children’s Homes and 5 Schools in various places. Pastor R.Abraham works tirelessly with hundreds of Pastors and churches each year. He is also a board member of Dr.Yonggi Cho’s Church Growth International.

                                                                                            Pakistan

John and Anne Iqbal have been working as non residential missionaries to Central Asia for the last seven years. They have been directly involved in the establishment of a Bible College with a three year program of training for ministry. They are now in the process of constructing a Bible College building which will include a large hall seating 350 people, classrooms, administration offices, library and accommodation for students who come from other cities and villages in the country. Centrally located in a large Christian community, once completed the college building will have the capacity to accommodate a greater expansion of their ministry and training capabilities. With an average attendance of 35 fulltime students, graduates of their college have initiated and developed various successful ministries as Pastors, teachers, evangelists and Church Planters with 10 new churches currently established. John also ministers in Pastors seminars, conferences and evangelistic crusades to win the lost.
